I want to make it official - this is the most comfortable chair ever for playing the guitar. I spent three hours practicing last night and finally had to stop because of my fingers, not my back. I love that I can adjust the height and lumbar support to personalize the fit, and the fact that it doesn’t squeak and move around makes it perfect for recording. I spend a lot of time in my studio and this chair is my new secret weapon for getting ready for concerts and contests.

I also want to compliment you on the design for the footstool. It’s great to be able to put both feet up if I want to, and the height adjustment allows me to get it just right. I’m going to recommend all my students get one.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 35 years and teaching, both privately and at the college level, for nearly 20 years. Many students come in with technique problems that can be traced directly to their sitting position and the way they hold the instrument. Having the instrument positioned correctly is a key component of proper technique, and being comfortable in that position will help students spend more time playing and less time squirming around. I want to go down on your list of very satisfied customers. I have been playing my guitar for 25+ years and many times we play for hours on end. I always got uncomfortable after a while. I have suffered with back pain since 1982. In that time, I have sought help from numerous persons. Most of them were at best of no help and some actually succeeded in making things worse. But there were a few people along the way that were able to teach me something so I can deal with this chronic problem. Bob Hall is one of those people.

Dear Bob,

I've been using the custom-made chair you manufactured for me for about 3 weeks now, and I'm delighted with it and the effect it has had on my back problems.

Firstly, about the chair itself: It is always comfortable, even after sitting in it for hours. It has thus improved my work, i.e. by allowing me to remain seated and alert at my desk for hours at a time without fatigue or discomfort.

Secondly, about my back problems: As you know, I have suffered sciatica for years, have a burst disk in my spinal column, am very obese, and previously suffered knee pain, lower back pain, and thigh numbness intermittently throughout the day. But since I started using the chair, I have experienced a substantial diminution of these phenomena, even when I'm not sitting in the chair. I'm now considerably more able to walk quickly for as much as 3/4 of a mile with almost no discomfort.

I was somewhat skeptical of the claims you & others made for your custom-made chairs, but was willing to give you a try when the Agent was willing to put in writing that I could try the chair for 30 days & return it for full refund less a 20% restocking fee if not completely satisfied. To say the least, & re-iterate it, I am delighted. Credit must be given where it is due, & your invention is apparently well worth its price. I'm glad I spent the money, and would do it again.
